Alkoxyamines were typically isolated in 70-95% yield. Alkoxyamines with structures resembling the dormant species of Me acrylate, Me methacrylate, and acrylonitrile were prepared and used as initiators for TEMPO-mediated stable free radical polymerization of styrene.
